Compressor cleanerThis product is a synthetic fluid formulated to be mixed with the existing compressor or vacuum pump fluid. It will dissolve and remove deposits, varnish and sludge so they may be drained with the existing fluid. Also very suitable when converting from mineral oils or PAO to PAG based fluids. It is fast acting and works while the fluid is being circulated in the system under normal operating pressures and temperatures. It can be used as a short-term compressor or vacuum pump fluid up to 300 hours. Contains anti-oxidation additives and rust inhibitors.
Procedure to clean the compressor or vacuum pump:
1. Add the product directly to the oil at a concentration between 10 and 20% depending on pollution levels and circulation time
2. Run the product between 100 to 150 hours
3. Drain the oil while being hot and fill with the new fluid
To convert or change from one product to another:
1. Drain the existing fluid and fill the system with 100% Airtop Clean
2. Circulate for 40 hours and change the filters
3. Drain and fill again with Airtop Clean for 40 hours
4. Drain the cleaner and fill the system with 50% of new oil
5. Circulate it for 2 hours
6. Drain the oil while being hot and fill with the new fluid
