Graphite dry film

This product is a multi-purpose product based on a dispersion of fine particle graphite and a synthetic resin bonding agent combined with a fast drying solvent. The product is in a liquid form and can be applied by brush or spray, once applied GSDL will quickly dry leaving a film of graphite securely adhered to frictional components. The dry lubricating film is very heat stable and highly resistant to chipping-off. It will prevent; seizure, ‘pick-up’ and galling.

The product can be recommended for many applications requiring an air-curing fast working dry lubricant containing graphite. Uses include running in of new components – gears, slides, shafts and bearings. Dry lubrication of sliding surfaces, gears and chains etc. The product is ideal for high temperature applications and for service in dusty environments or for use where cleanliness is of paramount importance.
